🛡️ Short version: Presli stores all your health data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, and only if you make a purchase.
1. Who we are
Presli is a health-tracking mobile application available on iOS and Android. References to "we," "us," or "the app" in this policy refer to the developer of Presli. Contact: support@jlvela.app
2. Data we collect
Health & vitals data
All health data you enter — blood pressure, weight, heart rate, sleep, caffeine, medication schedules, dose logs, custom metrics, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive database and SharedPreferences). This data is never transmitted to any server, never shared with third parties, and is not accessible to us.
In-app purchases
If you purchase Presli Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple Inc. (App Store) or Google LLC (Google Play). We receive only a cryptographic confirmation that the purchase was completed. We do not receive your payment details, Apple ID, Google account, or any other personal information. Your health data plays no role in the purchase process.
Analytics & advertising
We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or tracking tools. We collect no usage data or behavioral data of any kind.
3. Data we do not collect
- Names, email addresses, or account information
- Location data
- Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, etc.)
- IP addresses
- Any health or vitals data
4. Data stored on your device
The following is stored locally on your device only:
- Profile names you create
- Blood pressure, weight, heart rate, sleep, and caffeine readings
- Medication records and dose logs
- Custom metric definitions and readings
- App settings (theme, notification preferences, units)
- Purchase unlock status
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (e.g., via the PDF export or backup feature, which uses your device's share sheet — your choice, your control).
5. Third-party services
The only third parties involved in the operation of this app are:

These services are only engaged if you make a purchase. If you use the free version of the app, no third-party services are contacted.
6. Permissions we request
The app may request the following device permissions:
- Notifications — to send you reminders you configure in Settings. Denying this permission will not affect any other functionality.
7. Data storage & security
All data is stored in your device's sandboxed local storage. It may be included in your device's standard system backup (iCloud on iOS, Google Backup on Android) if you have backups enabled. This is handled entirely by your operating system. We have no access to your backups.
8. Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained on your device until you choose to delete it. You can:
- Delete individual readings within the app
- Remove a profile (and all associated data) from the Profiles section
- Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data permanently
9. Children's privacy
Presli is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since all data is stored locally on the device, no information is ever transmitted to us regardless of who uses the app.
10. Medical disclaimer
Presli is a personal logging tool and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health-related decisions.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and include the updated policy in a new app release. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
